Summer Math Advantage – Geometry

This is a Geometry Summer Course. At Rising Future we look at Geometry as a fundamental course for developing logical reasoning and spatial understanding. Conceptual understanding developed in this course, helps student in real life, in all the classes that come after this class and on competitive tests like SAT and ACT. It is imperative that student not only completes the skill but also develops conceptual understanding this year.

In this course students start to develop abstract thinking and will begin to visualize objects and attributes as variables. This course is divided into 4 units. Each unit of study provides students opportunity to develop deeper understanding of mathematics coupled with gaining procedural skill and fluency and modeling applications as outlined in the Common Core State Standards.

At Rising Future this course will be taught based upon the Common Core Content Standards and we will follow the curriculum listed below.
